Much of your success in college is due to time management and motivation, but there is a variety of core academic skills that you may need to improve in order to reach your academic goals.
CHECKMATE is a compilation of academic enhancement programs designed to promote academic readiness, student engagement, career/internship preparedness, leadership development and insight into current global perspectives.
Typical workshops might cover topics such as time management, study skills, stress, note-taking, test anxiety, motivation, or writing skills.
Most importantly, don't be afraid to ask for help. If you have any questions or need academic assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Le'Marus Alston @ (252) 985 - 5270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

We understand that time is precious, and as a student, it may be limited. That's why we have designed S.O.S, for you to receive services on the go! You can stop by and ask questions about student selected topics. The sessions will take place at various locations across campus, to ensure that everyone will have the opportunity to attend. Stay as long, or not, as you wish!
