If you choose to use your own health insurance, it must have as a provider Eastern North Carolina Medical Group (Dr. Dan Crocker).
Only the following insurance companies are accepted:
- NCWC student plan
- NC Medicaid [Carolina access not accepted]
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- First Health
- United Healthcare
One of the great benefits of attending NCWC is that we provide accident coverage at no cost to all full-time day students. The college also offers sickness insurance on a per semester basis.
- However, you will be placed on the college's insurance unless you complete an ONLINE WAIVER FORM by the appropriate deadline.
