 8:00 AM                                 Orientation Registration (Welcome Center)
Welcome to North Carolina Wesleyan College.  Pick up your orientation packet, to see what we have planned 
to assist you with your transition to NCWC.  After checking in, resident students can move into their room
and commuter students can visit the campus store to pick up textbooks and/or shop around for NCWC gear!
* continental breakfast served

10:00 AM                               Commuter Student Meet ‘n Greet (Internet Cafe)
While the resident students are moving in to their rooms, this is an opportunity for commuter students to
meet other commuter students, learn about the Commuter Student Association, and tour the Library,
which could become your temporary home while on campus.

11:00 AM                               WELCOME Session (Powers Recital Hall)
Students will be greeted by President Clark, Provost Brown, and Rev. Drum, the College Chaplain 
and learn about our rich heritage.
12:00 PM                                LUNCH (President’s House)
This first family is hosting lunch to welcome our new students. New students and their families are invited 
to mingle with President and Mrs. Clark.
* Students will be led to the President’s House by an Ambassador.

1:00 pm                                  Engaging in your Wesleyan Community
The Wesleyan Community is one of honor, civility, and friendship. Each person has the responsibility of contributing
to the overall well-being of the community.  Students will hear from the Dean of Students and other Student Affairs staff,
who will give information on how to be a responsible member of the community.

3:00 PM                                  MyNCWC SESSION (PCB Lab, 187)
Students will learn how to login and maneuver our campus portal. Students will be able to access class schedules,
student email, course information, and much more, through MYNCWC.

3:30 PM                                  Academics @ NCWC Presentation
During this session, students will learn about the fundamentals of a Liberal Arts Education.   
Class registration and the importance of using academic advising services will also be addressed. 
Students will be able to ask questions about their class schedule.

4:30 pm                                  Academic Building Tour (Campus)

5:00 PM                                  DINNER   (Blue & Gold Dining Hall)

6:30 PM                                  “Hangout at the Hartness” (Hartness Center)
Join other students at the Student Center for pool, karaoke, video games, or to simply chill and relax 
before the start of classes – tomorrow!
