WELCOME NEW STUDENTS! We look forward to meeting you at New Student Summer Orientation.

The faculty and staff have taken a great deal of time and and care in developing a program that will not only be enjoyable for you but also ease your transition from high school to college. You will hae the opportunity to make early connections with many of the professors and professional staff members that you will work with during the school year, as well as meet other students who have made the decision to become part of the North Carolina Wesleyan family.

All new students are required to attend one of the (2) two sessions below:

Session I:  Friday, June 21 - Saturday, June 22, 2013

Session II:  Friday, July 19 - Saturday, July 20, 2013

Other Information
During New Student Orientation, students and parents/guardian will have the chance to meet other NCWC students and families; talk with representatives from various offices; register for classes for the fall semester; shop at the campus bookstore, in addition to other exciting and important activities!  There will be an information forum for both the parents and students, so you’ll be able to ask all the questions you have about attending North Carolina Wesleyan College and college in general. You will also get a tour of the campus and a chance to view residence hall rooms, as well as receive helpful hints on how to prepare for your arrival in August.  All parents and students will be led by a PAL (as student orientation leader).

Students will be staying overnight in a residence hall. Parents are encouraged to stay in one of the local hotels and enjoy the Rocky Mount area.  For hotel information, click here.

  What to Bring
Please see below for the items that you need to bring:

• Bedding (a set extra long twin sheets, pillow, blanket)
• Alarm Clock
• Toiletries
• Bath Towel/Washcloth
• Comfortable Clothing and shoes
• An OPEN mind & a POSITIVE attitude!
