North Carolina Wesleyan College welcomes new director of education and associate professor of education Mrs. Danielle Madrazo.
With sixteen years of teaching experience ranging from kindergarten to higher education, Madrazo will bring valuable experience to Wesleyan’s campus. Although she is an educator, she is still active in a number of research fields.
“My research focuses in the areas of instructional technology, diverse learners, and formative assessment,” she said.
Madrazo currently serves as a content area expert and is a member of the Core Assessment Design Team for NCDPI’s office of early learning. In addition, she works on the North Carolina network of Educators for the Smarter Balanced Consortium Digital Library team.
Making multiple presentations at conferences around the area, Madrazo is a positive influence in her field. She also has an article published in Working Papers in TESOL and Applied Linguistics.
Mrs. Madrazo and her husband enjoy hiking and traveling with their two daughters.
North Carolina Wesleyan extends Dr. Madrazo a warm welcome to the battling bishop family!
