Sibling of Recent Graduate in Serious Accident

Carly Creef (left) with sister McKayla

Carly Creef is a recent graduate of NC Wesleyan. She played softball while she was here and was the recipient of many academic and athletic awards. Her sister, McKayla Creef, is suffering from serious injuries after a car accident last week. McKayla will be a senior at Manteo High School this fall.

Carly & McKayla’s parents, Greg and Anna Creef, have had to put work on the back burner to be by her side every second possible. With no income coming in and the medical bills steadily adding up, NCWC would like to encourage other members of the Wesleyan family make a gift to help the family with medical bills, travel money, etc.  We hope that you will take a moment to consider making a gift to the Creef family to help cover the expenses that are associated with McKayla’s hospitalization.

When making a gift through Wesleyan’s secure online gift site, please put “The Creef Family” in the designation box. To make a secure online gift, click here.

Donations can also be made at any State Employees Credit Union under the name Greg & Anna Creef as well as the secure site, Carly Creef created a fundraiser page for people in her community to donate.

A blood drive will be held August 8 or August 11. The final date and time will be determined based on the number of participants.  Signup sheets will be located in the Bookstore, Taylor Center Welcome Desk, Admissions and at the Switchboard. When signing up, please include your name and availability. The final date and time will be determined upon the number of participants.

If you have any questions, please contact Deontae Swain at

If you are not able to make a gift or attend the blood drive, we ask that you keep the Creef family in your prayers.
