How did NCWC prepare you for your professional life? “Wesleyan prepared me by providing the resources I needed to help me grow in many ways through the clubs and organizations offered. Being part of student organizations like FCA and the Exercise Science Club had a huge impact on me, as a person and as a student.  I was also able to form personal relationships with my professors. The NCWC faculty, staff and alumni were there to support and encourage me. They not only taught me academically but personally as well, like how to balance my schooling and athletics while succeeding at both.”

Most impactful professor/coach? “Coach John Thompson, Coach David Doino, Mrs. Rachel Dix, Mrs. Martha Proctor, Mrs. Carol Carson, Dr. James Bowers, and Dr. Meir Magal. They all had a big hand in helping me become the person I am today with their honesty, wisdom, love, and care.”

Most impactful experience at NCWC? “Being a part of the men’s basketball team and Fellowship of Christian Athletes taught me many different things. I learned how to be more responsible, better organized, and how to better manage my time. I also matured and became a better person. Wesleyan gave me multiple experiences that I would not have been able to take advantage of at a larger school.”
