Rocky Mount, N.C. – The campus of NC Wesleyan College will welcome prospective students on Saturday, April 6 during an Open House planned by the Admissions Office. Between 9 am and 1 pm, college-bound high school students, as well as college students considering a transfer, are invited to learn about the admissions process.
NCWC is a 4-year liberal arts college that offers 23 major and 20 minor degree programs in the areas of business, criminal justice, education, fine arts, science, social sciences, and more. Many Wesleyan students participate in the competitive NCAA Division III athletics program offered for men and women. Sports teams for men include baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, and tennis. Women compete in basketball, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
Open House visitors will have an opportunity to tour the beautiful tree-lined campus and recently renovated dormitories. Potential students will chat with current students and a variety of faculty members. They will visit classrooms where the student-faculty ratio of 13:1 provides a high level of academic support and personal interaction with each professor.
“We are looking forward to sharing the great opportunities at NC Wesleyan with potential students,” said William Allen, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “We have a great morning planned and our team is prepared to answer questions about the admissions process, including financial aid.”
Advance registration for the Open House and information about NC Wesleyan College can be found online at www.ncwc.edu/admissions or by calling 800-488-NCWC (6292). The campus is located at 3400 N. Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount, NC.
