A current league bowler, she has won several local tournaments and is actively organizing a league for the fall season. Pollard is majoring in criminal justice at NC Wesleyan.
Since 1989, the Kitty Powell Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $65,000 to 107 qualified recipients allowing them to further their education. This year’s award is larger than any amount granted in previous years.
