Rocky Mount, N.C.—
North Carolina Wesleyan College is preparing to welcome a large number of new students for the fall semester. The Admissions Office and Student Success Center staff members have made expanded plans for a comprehensive orientation program to help each student get off to a great start toward a successful college experience.
All first-year students and those transferring to Wesleyan from another college are required to attend one of three orientation sessions that will take during the summer break. These students will receive special attention as they register for classes and receive valuable information essential to establishing a foundation for success.
The first two New Student Orientation Sessions have been completed. The final New Student Orientation dates are for Session 3: August 17- 18. Attending this session is important, otherwise the new student will lose the advantages offered by the orientation and will not be able to register until all Wesleyan students return on August 19 for the campus-wide check-in.
According to Vice President of Enrollment Management, Bill Allen, “We understand there may special cases that would prevent someone from attending a session. Exceptions must be approved by my office so we can make separate arrangements for those students.”
