Awards Presented At Honors Convocation
Rocky Mount, N.C.—North Carolina Wesleyan College recognized students for their outstanding academic performance during the 2009-2010 school year at the annual Honors Convocation held in the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m.
Also, students invited to become members of prestigious professional organizations were inducted as new members, and current members who were present were recognized.
Dr. R. Jay Stubblefield, Wesleyan’s vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, commended the award recipients for their accomplishments, saying, “On behalf of Wesleyan’s faculty, I want to congratulate you and say how proud we are of your achievements. Don’t underestimate the significance of the awards you have won. They show that you have set yourselves apart—in a positive way—from others pursuing the same goals.”
