An exhibition of oil paintings by African-American artist Matt Cooper opens Friday, February 19, in Wesleyan’s Mims Gallery of the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. The public is invited to attend a free opening reception.

The exhibition of paintings that give a critical look at the world in which we live will run through March 21 in the Mims Gallery of Wesleyan’s Dunn Center for the Performing Arts.

Mims Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Group tours can also be arranged by contacting the Gallery curator, Art Professor Everett Adelman, at 252-985-5268.
