North Carolina Wesleyan College To Hold Commencement On Saturday, December 12
Rocky Mount, N.C.—North Carolina Wesleyan College will hold its winter commencement on Saturday, December 12, at 10 a.m. in Minges Auditorium of the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. A total of 191 students will take part in the ceremony—132 who finished their degree requirements in December and 59 who completed requirements last August.
Graduates represent six states plus the District of Columbia.
The commencement keynote speaker will be Susan Gravely, chairman and CEO of VIETRI, Inc., a Hillsborough, N.C.-based wholesale distribution company of Italian handcrafted dinnerware and decorative accessories. The company has grown since 1983 from a small business representing one Italian factory to the largest Italian importing company in the American tabletop industry, working with over 30 manufacturers throughout Italy.
Leading up to Saturday’s graduation ceremony, Wesleyan will introduce graduating seniors to the Alumni Association at a Friday afternoon reception at the Bellemonte House. Also a baccalaureate service will be held Friday evening in the Dunn Center, followed by a reception.
Graduation events are reserved for students and their guests.
