Book Signing Jan. 15 In Bookstore

Rocky Mount, N.C.—Suzanne Clark will be present in Wesleyan’s Campus Store in the Hardee’s Building on Thursday, January 15, from 4 – 6 p.m. to discuss and sign copies of her book, Cry Out to Jesus. The event is open to the public as well as the campus community, and all are invited to meet and talk with the author.

Description from the book jacket:

“Every parent would agree that their greatest fear is experiencing the loss of a child. This is the story of how God ushered one family through the valley of the shadow of death and out the other side to find joy once again. In Cry Out to Jesus, Suzanne Clark poignantly shares the intimate details of her personal struggles through a journey of faith as her greatest fear is realized when her one-month-old son, Zachary, dies unexpectedly.

Cry out to Jesus is about enduring and surviving the most painful of all losses, the death of a child. This is the story of one mother’s journey from brokenness to joy. But more than that, it is a story of family, friendship, and faith expressed honestly and openly so others may find comfort by crying out to the only One who can heal this depth of pain and restore hope to their lives. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll have renewed faith in a God who can heal even the most devastating pain and the deepest hurt imaginable.

Suzanne Clark has worked in the business world for nearly twenty years. She earned a B.S. degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business. She lives with her husband, Dewey, and their two children, Blakely and Nicholas, in Wilson, North Carolina.”

Copies of Cry Out to Jesus are available in the Wesleyan Bookstore for $10 each. Audio books are available upon request. For more information, email suzanne_clark@merck.com or call 252-234-2800.
