The Writing Center is here to serve the students and faculty of NCWC. Our primary function is to provide one-on-one tutoring in a personal, private, and collaborative environment. We provide help to students with any writing assignments, for any class, at any stage of development.

We invite you to stop in during our hours of operation, but we also accept papers submitted through email. The Writing Center is located in the Pearsall Library, Room 146. The Writing Center is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

To submit a paper, send a Word-formatted paper as an attachment to Include:

  • A brief description of the assignment
  • The course information (i.e. ENG 090-01)
  • The instructor's name
  • Any problem areas you wish the tutor to address (i.e. thesis development, evidence, transitions, organization).

We make a concerted effort to respond to all online submissions within 24-48 hours.
