Lauren Moore

I graduated this past May, and I know the only way this was possible was with the help of all the wonderful donors and the scholarships they provided for me.

After visiting Wesleyan, I knew that it was the college I wanted to attend. However, I was prepared to go to a community college to keep the cost of schooling down. When I was awarded scholarships through Wesleyan I was so excited and relieved to be able to go to the school of my choice and have help paying for it.

I am so thankful for the people who gave unselfishly while not expecting much in return. Their kindness and self-giving attitude inspired me to do the same this summer. I volunteered and gave of myself in Australia to promote and practice conservation. One day when I am able, I hope to give back to Wesleyan and help support a student the way someone once helped me.
