Chris DavisAs both a transfer and a day student, my experiences at Wesleyan may be a bit different from many other students. While I was non-traditional in some ways, I felt very much a part of the Wesleyan community. That sense of community was important to me because I was encouraged to be an active part of it while at the same time forging my identity as an individual. Always a sports fan, I was and remain a regular at Wesleyan sporting events.
It has been my pleasure to invest in Wesleyan’s future by being a member of the Alumni Board of Directors and the Battling Bishops Club. The many championship teams produced have helped Wesleyan to gain high levels of recognition, which in turn generates interest that can result in applications for admission. The high academic standards of the athletic department mean success in the classroom as well as on the playing fields. With the plans for the future that are in now in place, I know the best is yet to come. Even though it has been years since graduation, I am a part of Wesleyan.
