2+ Wesleyan FAQ

North Carolina Wesleyan College in partnership with the following community colleges offers the 2+ Wesleyan Program that levels the playing field with State 4-year University Direct Costs. 

Our tuition under the 2+ Wesleyan Program is equal or less than attending a 4 year State University. Other benefits for graduates transferring from our partnering community colleges include:

  • Up to 64 credits accepted from the partnering community colleges (applies to AA, AS and some AAS degrees)
  • Onsite application, advising and enrollment process.

Cape Fear Community College Programs

NC Wesleyan College has partnered with Cape Fear Community College to offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree.  Classes start in January 2012.  These programs are open to Cape Fear Community College graduates as well as graduates from Brunswick and Bladen Community Colleges.  Benefits of this program include:

  • Automatic acceptance of Cape Fear, Bladen, and Brunswick Community College graduates.
  • Rolling admissions, classes starting every 8 weeks.
  • Classes meet one-night-per-week (6pm-10pm) or on Saturdays from 8am-12noon for 8 weeks.
  • Cost of attendance is equivalant to state public universities. (Benchmarked against UNC and ECU).
  • Classes offered at the Downtown and North campuses of Cape Fear Community College.
  • Financial Aid available
  • Full time advisor and admissions representative will have an office at the North Campus. (Starting Nov. 16)

Montreat College Master's Program at Wesleyan

Montreat College will be offering a Master of Science in Management and Leadership (MSML) at NC Wesleyan College.  If you are interested in the MSML degree at the Triangle or Rocky Mount location, please emal Sharon Peacock (Admissions Specialist) at speacock@montreat.edu or call at 919-480-1532.

The MSML degree will be offered at the Rocky Mount campus starting April 30, 2012.  Anyone with a bachelor's degree can apply however Wesleyan graduates receive the following benefits:

  • Guaranteed admissions for Wesleyan graduates with a 2.7 GPA or higher
  • 10% tuition reduction on each class for Wesleyan graduates
  • No GER, GMAT, or MAT test requirement

Highlights of the program include:

  • Online and face-to-face classes
  • Cohort of students taking the same classes together
  • Focus on one class at a time for 6-8 weeks, one-night-a-week
  • Christian environment were all faiths are accepted
  • Complete the program in 18-24 months
