Library Resources
NC Wesleyan's Library is committed to helping users learn to find information efficiently and use it effectively. The library's home page is your gateway to information resources and services. From there you can search for books in the online catalog, search for articles in our online databases, find research help, or request books and articles via interlibrary loan.
Search the library catalog to find resources in the library's print and media collections as well as over 30,000 ebooks. Ebooks are accessible from on and off campus, and are very popular with our adult students.
Go to the Library homepage to search Online Databases, which contain full-text articles in all subjects from over 31,000 magazines, newspapers, and journals. The library's databases are restricted to enrolled NC Wesleyan students, faculty, and staff. When you access the databases from off-campus, you will be prompted for a username and password, which are the same as the username and password you use for MyNCWC. More information on how this works is available here.
Research assistance is available by telephone at (252) 985-5350, by email at reference@ncwc.edu, or all week except Saturday and Sunday midnight-8am.
Having trouble finding what you need? We can help! Pearsall Library has access to books, videos, and journal articles at institutions all over the country. Simply complete an online Interlibrary Loan request, and the staff will locate the books or articles--in Wesleyan's collection or at another library--and send them to you. Please keep in mind that it may take a week or more to deliver requested materials to you at your campus.
Above all, please remember that the library staff are here to help you!
