How to Apply

NCWC operates on a rolling admissions calendar. By providing the information below, you will be informed within 10 business days of the status of your admissions file. Background checks are required and performed on all admitted traditional freshmen and transfer students.

Freshman Students

1. Your completed Application for Admission and a non-refundable fee of $45. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.
2. Forward your official high school transcript to the Office of Admission, North Carolina Wesleyan College, 3400 N. Wesleyan Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The following information must be included: grades for all courses completed for each year of secondary school; grading scale and corresponding grade point average.
3. First marking period grades from senior year.
4. Your test scores from either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) sent directly to North Carolina Wesleyan College from the testing service. North Carolina Wesleyan's COLLEGE CODES are: SAT - 5501 and ACT - 3135.
5. We encourage you to submit an essay as an example of your writing ability in support of your application. Letters of recommendation are also encouraged.
6. A personal conversation with your admissions counselor about your future.
7. A recent photograph (optional)

Freshman Students (with less than 12 semester hours of college transfer credit)

1. Your completed Application for Admission and a non-refundable fee of $45. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.

1. Your completed Application for Admission with your signature and a non-refundable fee of $45. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.
2. Your official transcript(s) mailed directly to the Office of Admission. If you have attended more than one college, you must provide an official transcript from each school.
3. Candidate needs to be in good academic standing with all post-secondary institutions previously attended.
4. A personal conversation with your admissions counselor about your future.
