
How to Apply
NCWC is on a rolling admission calendar. By providing the information below, you will hear within 14 days the status of your admission file.
FRESHMAN STUDENTS
- Your completed Application for Admission and a non-refundable fee of $25. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.
- Forward your official high school transcript to the Office of Admission, North Carolina Wesleyan College, 3400 N. Wesleyan Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The following information must be included: grades for all courses completed for each year of secondary school; grading scale and corresponding grade point average.
- Your test scores from either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) sent directly to North Carolina Wesleyan College from the testing service. North Carolina Wesleyan's COLLEGE CODES are: SAT - 5501 and ACT - 3135.
- We encourage you to submit an essay as an example of your writing ability in support of your application. Letters of recommendation are also encouraged.
- A recent photograph (optional).
TRANSFER STUDENTS
- Your completed Application for Admission with your signature and a non-refundable fee of $25. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.
- Your official transcript(s) mailed directly to the Office of Admission. If you have attended more than one college, you must provide an official transcript from each school.
- An official copy of your final high school transcript. If you have received your GED, please have your scores forwarded.
- A completed Transfer Reference Questionnaire for students who previously resided on another campus.
NON-DEGREE STUDENTS
Students who wish to study at North Carolina Wesleyan College on a non-degree basis for teach certification, for credits to fulfill requirements at other institutions, or for other acceptable reasons are required to submit the following:
- A completed Application for Admission with your signature and a non-refundable fee of $25. The fee covers the cost of processing your application.
- An official transcript form a degree-granting institution.
- A completed waiver form indicating non-degree status at North Carolina Wesleyan College. This form is provided by the Office of Admission.
- If you wish to credit back to your degree-granting institution, you should submit a letter of permission from that institution.
