Student Financial Services

FAFSA Day is February 20th, more information here!

The Office of Student Financial Services provides financial assistance to students who, without such assistance would not be able to pursue higher education. The office utilizes continued service and technological advances to provide students every opportunity in pursuing and continuing their education while maintaining behaviors and standards of professional conduct.

  • North Carolina Wesleyan College awards $24 million annually in financial assistance and scholarships.

  • 98% of traditional program students benefit from some source of financial assistance.

  • The average scholarship package lowers the cost of attending North Carolina Wesleyan College, which makes Wesleyan compatible in cost with North Carolina's state universities.

North Carolina Wesleyan College offers a wide array of financial aid opportunities.  Please investigate our Scholarship and Award Programs page to find out more.  We are proud to offer a growing number of other scholarship opportunities, some of which include:

  • The Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship, funded by the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation.  This Foundation is a charity dedicated to the support of women in nine southeastern states including those who attend NC Wesleyan.

  • The Josephus  Daniels Endowed Scholarship is need-based and awarded to a new student at Wesleyan during our scholarship day event in February.  Preference is given to students who reside in eastern North Carolina.

  • The Dr. George Rufus Ratchford Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Dr. George Rufus Ratchford. This scholarship is awarded each year to an outstanding instrumental music student.
