Vice President of Finance

Loren Loomis Hubbell, Vice President of Finance, is a graduate of Smith College and the Harvard Business School. She brings extensive experience in college and university financial administration to Wesleyan.

Most recently she served as interim Vice President at the Montserrat College of Art in Massachusetts and at Illinois College. Previously she served as Senior Vice President for Finance at Mercy College in New York, where she was responsible for financial management and planning, and as Vice President for Finance at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York.

Prior to holding those positions she was Managing Associate in the higher education management consulting practice with Coopers & Lybrand. She has been an active participant in several industry associations, including the National Association of College and University Business Officers, and has been a frequent speaker at several professional conferences and workshops on financial management issues as well as on financial aid and tuition discounting.

She joined Wesleyan in July 2007.
