Dr. Patricia G. Brewer is the Coordinator of Special Education at North Carolina Wesleyan College. She is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Master’s degree in Special Education. She also received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from East Carolina University and a Doctoral degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Special Education Administration. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching and administration of varied and diverse programs in North Carolina and Georgia. Dr. Brewer is a court appointed advocate for developmentally disabled, abused and neglected children. She is a member of the Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities, North Carolina Consortium for Special Education Programs, National Education Association, North Carolina Association of Educators, and the Council for Exceptional Children.
Dr. Brewer enjoys photography and bicycling during her spare time. She is the proud mother of Zachary, a first year student at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School in West Point, New York.
