Dr. Lois Hart received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Fayetteville State University, a Master of Education in Reading at North Carolina Central University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Fayetteville State University.
She is a professor in the Teacher Education Department. Courses that she teaches include: Introduction to Teaching, Introduction to Special Education, Books for Children, Curriculum in Elementary Education, Educational Assessment, and Elementary Methods in Social Studies.
Before joining the NC Wesleyan faculty full-time, she served as an Adjunct for several local colleges and universities, including NC Wesleyan. She also served as a teacher and principal for many years with the Wake County Public School System.
She is an active member in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and exercising.
