Special Education

Special education teachers work with children and youths from elementary through high school age.  Special education teachers work in a variety of settings including their own classrooms and in inclusive settings with general education teachers.

Positions often pursued by graduates are: teaching.

Students will be exposed to coursework in:  Introduction to Exceptional Children, Assessment & Program Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Research Based Learning Strategies among others.
