Voice Mail Help
First time, to set up voice mail:
Call extension 7799. When the system answers,
enter # then your four-digit extension then the security code 0000 (four zeros). Follow
the tutorial instructions to change your code and enter a greeting and name.
If you have new messages:
You will receive a call each hour (8am to 11pm)
until you clear your messages. For rooms with more than one person, the call will indicate
which person has messages. You will be able to retrieve your messages during this call.
To retrieve messages from any campus phone:
Call extension 7799. As soon as the system answers, you must enter # then your four-digit extension
then your security code. Or, enter # and wait to be prompted.
To retrieve messages from off campus:
Dial 984-4999.
Voice Mail Menus (partial listing):
*: exit/cancel from any menu
Main menu:
1: listen to new messages
2: record/send a new message
3: options menu (from this menu 1, personal options, gives access to change greeting,
name, security code, and message notification callback)
5: listen to saved messages
Listening to a message:
1: pause/resume listening
3: back up 5 seconds
4: discard message
5: save message
6: restart message
7: skip to next message
8: reply to message
9: advance 5 seconds
