Student Network Log-In Information
Network Login Basics
You will need the following information to gain access to WESLINK, the NC Wesleyan College Network. This username will be used to log onto computers in the computer labs and to the My.NCWC.EDU campus portal.
Logging Into the Network
At the outset, you will see this dialog box:

To log-in, keystroke Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

Type your log-in in the "User Name" field. Tap the "Tab" key and enter your password in the "Password" field. Tap the "Enter" key and the computer will log you into WESLINK, the NC Wesleyan College network. If your log-in doesnt work, check the "Log on to" field to ensure that you are logging into the WESLINK network.
Normal Start Up
After you've logged-in, the computer will load system processes. You will also see the Panda anti-virus software loading in your task bar (illustrated below:).

In addition, you'll note the Panda (bear icon) loaded in your
system tray as illustrated here:

When these processes have loaded the normal start up sequence for NC Wesleyan College lab computers is complete.
If you have any questions, please call the Helpdesk at extension 5000, or stop by the Spruill Building.

TIP:
It's not a good idea to refrain from logging into the network until a
professor gives you an assignment requiring your log-in. It's possible to
discover, too late, that your log-in doesn't work. Consequently you could miss
your assignment deadline before you could re-establish your log-in. Thus, it's
clever preparation to check your log-in today!
