Spyware Removal
STEP 6: Download Spybot - Search & Destroy
Click on the link to DOWNLOAD
MS Anti-Spyware Tool. Click RUN (see Figure 1 below).
Then you will see another security propmt, just
click RUN again. (See Figure 2 below)

The MS Anti-Sspyware Installer should appear and
you should see an installation screen. At this
point just continue to click NEXT, then INSTALL.
Once installation completes check the Launch MS
Anti-Spyware checkbox then click FINISH. Once MS
Anti-Spyware launches you will see a setup agent
that will ask you some questions. Just click next
as all the default options are fine. Once all the
options are selected MS Anti-Spyware will launch.

Next, click the Scan options button shown in Figure
3 above.

Then, make sure the Run a full system scan
option is selected and click the Run Scan Now
button. (See Figure 4 above). Once the scan
completes, a summary will be displayed, then just
click close.

Next you should see a Scan Results screen. (See
Figure 5 above) If any threats were found they will
be listed at this screen. If there are any listed,
make sure all threats are checked and then remove
them.

Now we need to clear all the cache and cookies on
the system. To do this locate the icon indicated by
the arrow in Figure 6 above. (It can usually be
found in the upper right or mid right area of the
MS Anti-Spyware screen)

Next you should see the icon indicated in Figure 7
above. Once you do, click on it.

Now, you should see a screen similar to Figure 8
above. First, click the CHECK ALL option, then
check the Remeber checked tracks box. Then
click the ERASE TRACKS button. You will be asked if
you wish to erase the tracks, so click YES. Once it
erases the tracks, click OK.
