Golf Classic at Ford’s Colony—Rocky Mount This year’s Homecoming golf classic will be the first event ever to be played at the beautiful new championship golf course at Ford’s Colony—Rocky Mount. All proceeds from this fundraiser will support academic programs, athletics, and student scholarships. The event includes 18 holes of golf, range balls, free video instruction prior to the tournament, boxed lunch, special goody bag, awards reception, and refreshments both on the course and following the tournament provided by Carolina Eagle Distributing.

Homecoming Awards Dinner—A Celebration of Excellence Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Dunn Center Homecoming excitement concludes with this major event honoring outstanding alumni. Kevin Kilroy, ’76, will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award; James Bell, ’98, the Alumni Achievement Award; and the Henderson Family, the Wesleyan Family Award. Inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame will be Vernon Bradley, ’80, tennis; Rob Donnenwirth, women’s soccer coach, 1994-98; Jeff Hood, ’84, basketball; and Patricia Parker Stewart, ’95, soccer.
