Rocky Mount, N.C.— Ricky K. Brown, BB&T’s Senior Executive Vice President and Manager of Banking Network, will speak on “Back to the Basics of Retail Banking” at North Carolina Wesleyan College on Tuesday, November 7, at a 12:30 p.m. luncheon at the Dunn Center. Ricky Brown’s appearance is part of the “Business on the Move” series which celebrates Wesleyan’s 50^th Anniversary and is sponsored by Wesleyan and the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce.

 

Brown is a native of Robersonville, NC, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Louisiana State University School of Banking of the South.

 

He has more than 27 years of banking experience. He joined BB&T in 1997 and has served as Business Services Officer in New Bern and Morehead City, Corporate Banker in Wilmington, City Executive in New Bern and Winston-Salem, and Regional President of BB&T’s Charlotte Metro Region and Group President of the Washington, D.C. Metro Region.
