April 17, 2002 N. C. Wesleyan College Invites Public to Honors Convocation Rocky Mount, N.C.—The public is invited to attend North Carolina Wesleyan College’s 2002 Honors Convocation to be held Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. in Minges Auditorium of the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. The event will recognize students who have achieved a high level of academic success and have demonstrated excellent leadership abilities. Many of the students to be honored are graduating seniors. Keynote speaker for the event will be John Thompson, Wesleyan’s director of athletics and men’s basketball coach. The public is encouraged to join Wesleyan’s students, faculty, and staff in this celebration of excellence. # # # |
