December 10, 2001 N.C. Wesleyan College Honors Scholarship Recipient Rocky Mount, N.C.— Lisa Roeder, recipient of the Allen S. Johnson Scholarship at North Carolina Wesleyan College, was honored recently at a scholarship reception at Wesleyan’s Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. Roeder is a senior history major from Rocky Mount. The Johnson Scholarship was established in Johnson’s honor by Wesleyan graduate Gregory W. Williams and other alumni. N.C. Wesleyan is an independent, four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The College offers bachelor’s degrees in 22 majors on the main campus in Rocky Mount. It also offers an Adult Degree Program specially designed to help working adults finish their bachelor’s degrees in several disciplines on the Rocky Mount campus and at sites in Raleigh, Durham, and Goldsboro. # # # |
