Singer Crystal Gayle Brings Holiday Show to N.C. Wesleyan College

Rocky Mount, N.C.Popular singer Crystal Gayle will bring a festive holiday performance to North Carolina Wesleyan College’s Dunn Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. Special guests will be members of The Tar River Children’s Chorus, which will perform a medley of Christmas songs along with Crystal Gayle.

The musical event will begin with the lighting of a Christmas tree and a visit from Santa Claus at 7:15 p.m. in the Garner Lobby, just before the performance begins. The stage of Minges Auditorium will be transformed into a winter wonderland as Crystal Gayle delights her audience with traditional holiday songs.

Gayle has nearly three dozen hit songs to her credit, has won a Grammy Award, and has been named Female Vocalist of the Year. In addition to familiar holiday songs, she will sing some of the hits that helped make her famous, such as "Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue," "Talking in Your Sleep," "The Women in Me," "Nobody’s Angel," and "When I Dream."
