GLAD in Concert at the Dunn Center at NC Wesleyan, Aug. 11, 7:30pm
A flood relief benefit concert, in partnership with the Dunn Center at NC Wesleyan, Centura Insurance, Sprint, and Royal Sun Alliance Insurance. Rocky Mount, NC—Recording artists GLAD will perform a benefit concert with proceeds going to the United Methodist Flood Relief Centers in Eastern North Carolina. The concert will be held Friday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m., in the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts on the Rocky Mount campus of North Carolina Wesleyan College. Glad communicates the gospel with their impeccable vocals and harmonies to all people, ages 8 to 80. Their songs include "Glory to God," " God is My Redeemer," "Awesome God," "Angels Dance," and other hits that families will enjoy listening to together. Their music celebrates God’s glory and majesty. Tickets are $12 and $15. Tickets for students and seniors over 60 are $10. Tickets are available through the Dunn Center Box office at 252-985-5197 and 1-800-303-5097. Churches and businesses that would like to get blocks of tickets to sell, may contact Jan Zarr at the Dunn Center or Forrest Smith at 252-823-2124, ext. 6237 (daytime) or 252-823-5011 (evening). Tickets sold in blocks of 100 will be $10 each.
