Memorial Celebrating Dr. Linda Flowers at NC Wesleyan
Rocky Mount, NC- A service of Celebration of the Life and Career of Dr. Linda J. Flowers, 1944-2000, will be held Friday, February 4, at 2:15 p.m., in the Leon Russell Chapel, at North Carolina Wesleyan College. The community at large is invited to attend this celebration of her life and contributions. Dr. Flowers died Friday, January 21, at Duke University Hospital. Her funeral was held Sunday, January 23, at the Faison United Methodist Church, in Faison, N.C. Dr. Flowers was born November 8, 1944, in Duplin County. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert Flowers and Geneva Hollingsworth Lane Flowers.
