Season Ticket Campaign for the

Dunn Center for the Performing Arts at NC Wesleyan

Rocky Mount, NC – Reserved seats are still available now for the season series for the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. Call the Belk Box Office at the Dunn Center, 985-5179. Tickets for individual performances go on sale August 10. The Center's third season includes The Nylons, the pop vocal a capella group from Canada, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m.; "Idols of the King," a play with music about the lives of fans of Elvis Presley, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m.; "The Nutcracker," featuring the Charleston Ballet Theatre in this perennial favorite, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m.; The Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats, the premier acrobatic troupe touring today, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m.; "Me and My Girl," a classic rags to riches, love-conquers-all tale done to music, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m.; Leahy, a family group of five sisters and four brothers who perform contemporary Celtic and Canadian folk music and French Canadian step dancing, March 4 at 8 p.m.; Bo Thorpe and His Orchestra, April 8 at 8 p.m.; and three Wesleyan Theatre Productions: "Godspell," a family-oriented Christian musical, Oct. 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31,and Nov. 1, "A Shayna Maidel," a drama set in 1946 New York about a Jewish family after the holocaust, March 17-20; and "Lone Star" and "Laundry and Bourbon," two one-act comedies, April 28 through May 1. All evening performances start at 8 p.m. Matinees on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, March 20, and May 1 begin at 3 p.m.
