North Carolina Wesleyan College Commencement May 9

Rocky Mount, NC -- North Carolina Wesleyan College will hold its 34th annual commencement exercises Saturday, May 9, at 10:30 a.m. A band concert starting at 9:30 a.m. will precede the exercises. A total of 320 students are eligible to receive their degrees in a wide range of disciplines. Of these, 214 candidates for graduation are from Wesleyan College’s Adult Degree Programs, or 67 percent. Traditional students who graduate on Saturday number 106.

The commencement exercises will be held on the lawn in front of the Braswell Administration Building. In case of rain the event will be moved to the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts.

North Carolina Wesleyan College is a private, four-year liberal arts college, affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The College offers bachelor’s degrees in 23 majors to traditional students. The College also has extensive adult degree programs for working adults, with classes on the Rocky Mount campus, and at additional teaching sites in Raleigh and Goldsboro.
