#25 Tennis Courts

Thanks to the generous gifts of alumni, North Carolina Wesleyan College has a set of brand new tennis courts beside Collins Hall. The courts are equipped with full lighting to accommodate nighttime play and surrounded by chain link fencing. The courts were built in honor of all Wesleyan students who died while attending the college, including a number of Vietnam veterans who gave their lives in service to their country.

NCWC has a young, but fast growing, tennis program. 1999 was the first time in the institution’s history that a Women’s Tennis Team competed and the Men’s Team retook the courts after an eleven-year hiatus.
