Men and women’s Soccer is serious business at NCWC. The women’s program was started in 1983 and since that time has come to be considered one of the best among small colleges all over the country. The Bishops have recorded over 200 wins in their relatively brief history, while capturing nine USA South Conference (formerly Dixie) championships. The team has reached the NCAA tournament field on ten occasions, including a Final Four appearance in 1994.
The men’s soccer team has an equally impressive record of success since its inception in 1964. The team has amassed nearly 300 victories, has reached the NCAA tournament three times, and has claimed three USA South Conference (formerly Dixie) championships. Coach Jason Kilby has played in the USL and the USISL, as well as the Moseley Football Club in London, England. He has brought a winning attitude to the Battling Bishops!
To match the quality of our soccer teams, Wesleyan’s Scalf Field is one of the finest soccer facilities in the South. The 120’ x 80’ Bermuda tifton grass surface field with space for 1,200 avid soccer fans is a fitting location for our Wesleyan soccer teams.
