The center of the Colleges religious life is the Leon Russell Chapel. The Chapel was built in 1984 and serves as a site for all campus religious services as well as numerous meetings, forums and symposiums. The Chapel is also a popular location for weddings. Many Wesleyan alumni have "tied the knot" there.
A non-denominational chapel service is held every Wednesday at 12 noon and Catholic and other services are held at various other times. Another feature of the chapel is the carillon bells ringing across campus chiming the hour.
