As America's new first family of bluegrass, Cherryholmes has stormed to the top of the bluegrass world by winning the 2005 IBMA Award for Entertainer of the Year.  The Cherryholmes sound is made up of hard-driving instrumental virtuosity and explosive vocal harmonies.
